I was very impressed with the master class of cardboard vases.
Take a cardboard tube (from a roll of linoleum), saw off the length we need (I have-65 cm). We thought about the form, I immediately drew a blank on the cardboard.
Cut out a lot of pieces - a lot. The more, the better. This is probably the most unpleasant moment in the entire work. I used scissors to rub a corn on my hand.
Glue the pipe to the base. For the basis, it is better to take fiberboard, not cardboard. But I realized this in the process
With hot glue, I glue the blanks around the perimeter.
now paste over with newspaper strips. PVA glue.
When everything is dry, I cover it with a mass of papier-mache.
Align and smooth.
Dried a couple of days near the battery. Now I dilute the putty (I have a Knauf finish), add a little PVA glue to it, and coat the vase.
After drying, I sandpaper the skin. This procedure is done until the vase becomes smooth. I smeared and skinned three times.

I'm starting to decorate. Here, paper art is probably my favorite technique. Athletes were sculpted from Keraplast - a self-hardening plastic mass. The top and bottom were covered with millet and peas.
Painted it black. And then proposal the whole thing gold.
I put napkin motifs on this vase. Previously, of course, primed and covered with white acrylic. The pattern is putty+PVA.
I found this tube in the medicine Cabinet and used it to apply putty. I finished it with acrylic paint, went through the patterns with bitumen, and wiped it with a rag soaked in white spirit. Covered with four layers of acrylic varnish, with intermediate cleaning of the entire surface.
Well, here - already with a bouquet.
Here craquelure, putty, aged with bitumen.
By the way, I also made bouquets myself. Willow soaked for the night in the bathroom. In the morning, I wound it on the mops.Fixed it with tape in several places. Willow was not cleared of bark, it's too long and tedious task. I had it dry for two weeks. Well, balls is told. Half of the rods were covered with black acrylic lacquer, and the second half of the spray - gold.
Yes, the process is time-consuming, but it's worth it.
