Easter

The greatest Orthodox holiday Easter is approaching - the Bright Resurrection Of Christ - the main event of the year for Orthodox Christians.  The word "Easter" came to us from the Greek language and means "passing away", "deliverance".

Traditionally, at Easter, it is customary to give painted eggs, cakes, and sweets to relatives and friends.

Painted eggs are a mandatory part of the Easter service. In addition, there is a custom to give eggs, exchange them during Christ-giving.

You can also make Easter Souvenirs for your loved ones with your own hands.

I made this Chick out of cotton wool and eggshells.

And this is a candy basket. You can put colored eggs and Easter cake in it.
